Beautiful spot! My friend was visiting so I decided to take her to this rooftop for lunch which worked out very well. I reserved through open table and everything was smooth, we were seated right away.
Service is very good providing a lot of attention, making sure guests are happy. Food is not bad but nothing exceptional. We ordered pasta, chicken salad and cheese board. All served beautifully, tasted good but as I mentioned nothing that would differentiate this place from others. However, it is more about the combination of various factors that makes you feel good about this place- ambience, weather( if you are lucky) and service.
Autumn leaves/ decor is beautiful although I expected to see some real flowers and leaves -

The decor of this place is fabulous and that is about.... all the good things I can say about this place.
It is geared towards tourists, I cannot fathom a local paying $12 for a lemonade w no alcohol. If it was a cocktail - ok, but no, it wasn't.
The food was mediocre, our calamari had about 12 pieces for $18. The watermelon salad looks like it was made from scraps left of a watermelon that had been sitting for days, also for a ridiculous amount. This restaurant did not have much to offer my friend and I. -

I went here for a first date because the setting is beautiful, and I have seen pictures all over Instagram. Besides a nice selfie or photo-op, the restaurant had very little to offer us.
It's listed as a rooftop, but it truly isn't. It is indeed on the top floor of the building, but it is covered by roofing and flowers so there is absolutely no view of the city or anything. It is VERY loud, and the tables are cramped close together so I felt like I was shouting, and I could hear my neighbor's conversation.
Now the menu. Very very limited options. And if you're looking for a meal with meat and sides, it's best to try somewhere else. There were about 10 dishes on the main plates menu, and 3 had meat. Even looking around, very few people had meals; it was more of a meat and cheese spread type of vibe. I ordered a $15 glass of wine, and we pondered over the menu and asked the server for recommendations before deciding to leave.
Based on the server's recommendation, we went downstairs and ate at Manzo (one of the other restaurants in Eataly) instead, and we were extremely satisfied. -

Came here for the atmoshpere (silk flowers everywhere) but that's it. It gets super crowded and food is average at high prices. Drinks are great but highly priced too.
My boyfriend and I came here this evening and it was so nice out so we wanted to go to the rooftop instead of sitting inside Eatly. We were told it was a 2 hour wait. So we put our phone number down for them to text us when the table is ready. Since we had 2 hours we walked 10 min to the bed bath and beyond to return something. As soon as we got there we got a text. We returned it quickly and walked right back. It was nice that we got a table earlier than we thought but they grossily over estimated the time which is misleading and probably turned a lot of people away.
We were seated right next to an oscillating fan. It was so annoying since it was so nice outside they really did not need to have a fan blowing. Waiter said he couldnt turn it off for whatever reason so we were moved to a table more out of the way of the fan. Which was nicer.
We split the t-bone steak. It was a bit chewy and not 20oz like advertised. Def smaller and it was $60! It didnt even have the filet part on it, or if it did it was way tinier than normal.
Brussels spouts where the best thing we had, they were spicy and crispy and the flavor was unique. They also gave us complimentary bread so don't buy the bread on the menu! The drinks were good too, my viola sprtiz was yummy and tasted like flowers which was fitting for the atmosphere.
Overall a gimmick, nice to go once, but wouldn't come back since food average and prices too expensive for what we got. -

ordered Funnel Sausage Fusilli, ice black tea , about 27+6 bucks (+tax +tips).
Seasoned sausage in mini bite size, rich funnel aroma, not too salty, not greasy, light creamy, well balance.
food is average good, what you get is what you paid.

hands down, this place is for instagram.
